I have been waiting for a good place to start this blog for some time and has it turns out a bunch of dip shit fuck head cops form Toronto get to be the first lucky cunts to gain my attention. Scrolling down through what on a normal day looks like a steaming pile of shit that is a Facebook news feed I see another depressing post about a young man killed with excessive force by police. Whilst shaking my head feeling bad for Americans and admittedly being happy I am not one I notice the line "we are getting as bad as the US" and nearly choke on my own tongue.
Sammy Yatim only 18 years of age and by all accounts so far a average young fellow who so happens to have a knife in his pocket and was in the process of making a stupid mistake on a streetcar when shit got a whole lot fucking crazier than this kid could ever imagine. So this is where I will start to sift through this pile of shit, Sammy is alone on the street car surround by the fuzz and he is holding a knife. Admittedly for Sammy not a great place to be but then screaming your a pussy at the coppers left me naturally thinking the title was another internet hoax and newest version of don't tase me bro was about to be rolled out when shockingly and utterly disgustingly three shots are fired into the streetcar then after a short pause more shots ring out as the angle of the officers pistol begins to point downward finishing with a total of nine shots and a charge by another officer onto the streetcar while somehow still the need is seen to scream drop the knife as a taser is heard firing.
Not until Sammy lay lifeless does one coward finally enter the back of the streetcar an option exercised after the fact which if attempted earlier may of resulted in Sammy still being alive. It's not like the fucking pussy had to breach alone there was eight or ten other police present all lined up like two sides of a bi-polar parade with half looking scared like it's their first toss up and the other posing one after another all ready to send Sammy Yatim to meet his maker which they most tragically did.
Now it is very fucking apparent that I am no expert on police tactics but even a foul mouthed ranting angry fucker like me could easily see that two in the back door with tasers as well one through the front brandishing the same could of easily taken down a what appeared to be small teenager with out serious harm coming to anybody. The way the officer with the taser yells drop the knife while obviously Sammy is tasting a mass of volts says it all for me that two of these officers are seriously deranged and should never of been able to serve the public.
The only thing right about the story is Sammy's last words "your a fucking pussy" how true they were and we all heard them loud and clear. Not unlike many others Sammy's choice that night lead him into trouble but in no way did he deserve to die at the hands of some cowardly fool who discredited his fellow officers and disgusted a nation.
